Christkindlmarkt

The Newburgh Museum presents its Second Annual Christkindlmarkt this Christmas Season on Saturday, November 23, 2024.   The Christkindlmarkt will be open from 9am – 6:00 pm on this special Saturday before Thanksgiving to ring in the Christmas season in Newburgh.  Current plans will include booth space under large tents and a few indoor spaces, so plan accordingly.

The 2nd Annual event will grow in size to 30 or more vendors and there will be plenty of Christmas lights and decorations lighting up the Christkindlmarkt area.  The vendor areas will be concentrated just north of the Newburgh Elementary School and adjacent to both the Newburgh Museum at the Zion United Church of Christ.  Large areas of parking will be available along with refreshments and music.

All vendors are welcome, but particularly those with Christmas, Hanukkah and Holiday themed crafts and wares, with a preference being for handcrafted items.  Visitors will  be looking for early Christmas presents for their friends and loved ones!   Food vendors will be accepted on a case-by-case basis if they compliment the other food items being planned by the Museum, and if accepted must be permitted by the Warrick County Health Department.  (Information will be provided if needed.)  Vendor application acceptance is in the absolute discretion of the Newburgh Museum.

Vendor set-up is from 6:00am-9:00am, volunteers will be available to help vendors will set-up and take down!
